Anniversary Gifts

I know most of us receive "little somethings" for our anniversaries. I myself do admit that I usually expect something from my hubby every year... Actually, I don't expect something extravagant, I just want to feel important, thought of, or cared for during that special day... Even a simple note with few beautiful words of appreciation can send shivers up my spine and make me feel like I'm on Cloud 9... That's how shallow I am... I just wish he reads this... Unfortunately, he never read any of my blah... Teehee...

Anyways, just a few days ago, my bestfriend JCC and my cousin BB celebrated their 10th year anniversary... Actually, they didn't plan on celebrating it, even a dinner together wasn't even talked about... They both have separate plans, BB had a badminton tournament, while JCC had a relaxing massage at the comforts of her home.

After JCC's massage, BB arrived shortly, and guess what he got for her??? This...




My gosh, I literally fell on my computer chair when I saw her MMS message to me... What a gift!!!!!!!!!! I asked her what she did to her hubby to deserve something like that!!! Wheow... But there's one thing i'm sure of, JCC is really a good person and there's no doubt that BB knows what she truly deserves...

Let's Be Brighter!

I love bright colors!!! I used to wear dull colored tops, or earthy tones, like, moss green, khaki, black, chocolate brown, beige, dark blue, you know, tops that can make you go unnoticed... I guess it reflects a little bit of insecurity, lacking self confidence, or maybe I used to be so boring... But now, I don't know what happened, suddenly I became interested in vivid colors, live and bold colors!!! Now i'm into bright fuschias, greens, reds, yellows, anything that's loud, striking, or even shouting! Hahahaha...

Just this morning I came across this site and I love seeing celebrities sporting wild colors... Here, take a look...


I love the way she pulled off those bright yellow bangle and paired with her equally bright Roger Vivier yellow pumps... And how on Earth can SJP wear those with a hot Fuschia Bottega Veneta bag??? Wow... I envy her... She's such a fab dresser, I don't know about you guys, but I think she looked great in those bright colors... Wish I could pull that off too...

I remember my cousin PCR told me that she's eyeing the YSL Downtown Bag... Baghag MS told me that it has been branded as the Perfect Size Bag, so I checked it out... I find it too big, but subtle, yet unique... I agree with Fab Sugar, it is too big to be branded as the Perfect Size Bag.

My Pre-Birthday Post

Yesterday, I was scheduled to visit my OB-Gyn. I was having severe back pains, leg cramps, and sleepless nights. I am scheduled for a CS on July 7, 2007. For 8 months, I've been hoping and expecting that this will be a 07-07-07 birthday for my first baby boy... Unfortunately, that target date is now impossible. It'll be on the 20th of June instead...

As I was examined by my OB, he showed me the size of the baby. At 36 weeks, he is now a 7 pounder, and I am obliged to drink tons and tons of water, minimize salt and sugar intake... Wheeeowww... That one is tough...

Anyway, here's a pic with my OB-Gyn, he is such a nice doctor. I don't know why a lot of people here in Manila don't like him, but I always feel so light, pampered, and prioritized whenever I visit him. I'm sure a lot of his patients feel the same way as I do...



After the check up, my beloved sister, Baghag MS and I headed to Tresorie, and check out Mrs. T's, D! Luxe's, and Tinsley's stuff...

Wow, I love the interior design of the shop, very cozy, exudes friendly atmosphere, a lot of good finds, and surprisingly affordable stuff!!!

A double strand silver necklace - first strand is a small jade bag, and the second strand says "LOVE" in Chinese. So the combination just spells out "Bag Lover", teehee...

A triple gold necklace - 1st strand symbolizes God, the 2nd strand has a heart, or love, and the 3rd strand, a kissing couple, with the girl popping up her right foot during the kiss...

Just Can't Get Enough Of The Red Bag

I don't know what's with the color Red, but I can still remember that when I was in my teenage years, I used to hate the color red... I thought the color's too flashy, too loud, too wild, too happy... But now, (must be the age) I'm lovin' it... I noticed that lately, i've been wearing reds... Tops, wallets, even my cellphone is color red...

The Never Ending Saga of the Neverfull Bag

I just realized that everybody's been going ga-ga over this Neverfull Bag by Louis Vuitton... Actually, about two weeks ago, I posted The Bag Hags, and featured a little something about this bag.

My cousin CWT bought one in Paris and boy, was I shocked to find out how cheap it is in France... My gosh, good thing she bought it there, imagine, the MM is sold here in the Philippines for around US$ 837.00, and she bought hers in Paris for only US$522.00... Wheeeeoowwww!!! Good for you CWT!!!

You really did find a great loot for ya'self!!! Rejoice!!! hahahaha... Next time you go back to Paris I wouldn't have second thoughts of sending you moolah to buy
that kind of loot for me...
