Too Faced!

"Why be pretty when you can be gorgeous?"
- Jerrod and Jeremy

Such a lovely philosophy of the two successful entrepreneurs and founders of
Too Faced Cosmetics. (click the link)

I fell in love immediately with Too Faced Natural Eye Neutral Eye Shadow Collection. I first saw it in my sister's dresser. Then I looked at her eyes fully made up.
I thought it was professionally done... No kidding...

My sister has no talent whatsoever in applying, blending, and in contouring eyeshadow. But when I saw her eyes, I knew it has something to do
with this small box...

She showed it to me, and to my surprise, it comes with small tutorial pads that instructs you on how to use the palette...

Since this is the "Neutral Eye Shadow Collection", the three Instruction Cards lead you through a step by step instruction on how to get a "Natural Neutral Look". You can choose from three different styles: Day, Classic, or Fashion.

I assure you, these instructions are easy to follow, and shall give you a
"professional looking" make up every time!

Unfortunately I don't have bigger files of the pictures I had
when I tried Too Faced...

But I was really satisfied with the effect,
and I never returned the whole box to my sister...
I told her to just go back to Amazon.com and get me more!!!

Here's what's on my list:

1. Smoky Eye Palette (click)

2. Primed and Poreless Face Primer (click)

3. Naked Eye Palette (click)

4. Primed and Poreless Powder (click)

Oh no.... Too many, too many!!!! Love all their products!!!
No wonder Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, etc. requests Too Faced cosmetics on their make up sets during shoots...

Lil' organizing...

Sorry for not posting lately... I've been very busy with my niece and nephew who are visiting from Vegas, and I can hardly find time to blog, or even work! It's just that I missed them so much and I wanted to cherish every minute of happiness with them...
I remember they looked so young and innocent!

Sydney (nephew) and Trish (niece)

Sydney and Trish
NOW

How they've grown so fast!!! But as I always say, do not be afraid of growing old,
just don't be a grown up! We can always stay and feel young forever...

Anyways, the kids are enjoying the shopping here in Manila...
They love how their little moolahs turn to big moolahs...
The downside is, I also break my wallet whenever we go out...

We visited the FUNctional shop in Shangrila Mall, and the kids loved the place!
They got so excited that they wanted to buy everything sold at the store...

I noticed that the items are not really that unique and exciting...
Those are just pens, for crying out loud! Its just that the stuff were arranged in an
attractive way that a girl can only dream of having one in her own room...
It reminded me of Cassie's tons of pens, pencils, markers, crayons, etc...
All thrown in one large bag and no one would bother to get a pen inside...
But hey, those are expensive pens!!!
And I wouldn't have bought those if not for Cassie's never ending begging!
Now they look like a bag full of junk pens and Cassie doesn't even care...

Thanks to FUNctional, it gave me an idea of how to organize the "unwanted pens"...

So what I did was search for a mini pen organizer, something that could make it a little attractive... I bought a gadget/remote organizer at Saizen (Daiso) Japan Store.

So this morning, after an hour of trying and testing various pens,
ballpens, crayons, markers, etc, I came up with these...

I felt so relieved finding ways to organize small stuff...
Now I can't wait 'til Cassie sees what I did to her "unwanted and ignored bag of pens"...

Until my next project: Cassie's clips, hairpins, headbands, accessories, etc!

Now for that, I only wish I could make something like this: Cassie's dream room!
(Close to impossible)
