Yaya's Day Off

Fonzie's yaya took the day off, so I was set to just stay home the whole day... Around 3pm, I began to feel restless... I really hate staying home during Sundays... It is because I work at home (parent's place actually)...

From Monday to Saturday, I eat home-cooked food, well except for some nights when I get to dine out with my friends...

Anyway, what i did, was just pure selfishness... I went out, left my 10 month old baby with my mom's help - who doesn't even know how to change diapers...

I went to the grocery, bought some dvd's, and ate these...

Went home around 9pm, baby's sound asleep... (di kaya sinuntok?)

My Very First H...

I like wearing headbands... It has been my frustration actually. Because I used to wear plastic headbands which gives me headache, and whenever I wear silk, or garterized hair bands, they just move upward, pushing my hair out, making me look funny...

I used to see Celine Lopez wearing one...

I was curious how she manages to fix her very short and shiny hair wearing a silky headband... Then my sister told me that Celine is wearing a twilly - an Hermes made silky scarf, can be used as a scarf, a headband, or as an accessory to a Kelly or a Birkin... Then she showed me hers... I told her it would be impossible for me to like it, because from the looks of it, it will because it will surely be something I would never buy....

So, to prove me wrong, she lent me her Bolduc Twilly... And here it is...

I was really satisfied... I swear, it didn't move an inch... I was so happy that I asked her to just give it to me... Talk about greedy, I didn't even ask her to sell it to me!

Anyways, since it is dominant in green, I bought one that is a little pale looking, softer, something not as loud and wild... So i bought this...

Chain d'ancre (in Pink)

I bought this from Tresorie, and I find it really, really cute!!!

Lazy Sunday

I originally have planned on going to Rockwell today... But since I slept until 11am this morning, I felt really lazy and wanted to stay in my room wearing pjs... But I had to run some errands, and re-load my almost empty pantry, (only instant noodles in sight)... Because I am not really in the mood to dress up and fix my hair, I decided to go to the nearest one stop shop - Trinoma... It's the only mall where I can go wearing flip flops, make-up less, and undone hair...

After finishing my "to do list", Paolo and I, both hungry, decided to look around the cinema area, where most restaurants are located... I saw Max Brenner, Krispy Kreme, Oliver's, Figaro, Ruby Tuesday, Bubba Gump, Cyma, Fish & Co., Italianni's, and Holy Cow... We were torn between Ruby Tuesday and Holy Cow, for those were the only ones we haven't tried... Checked out their menus, and found out that Ruby Tuesday has fewer selections... So we ended up at Holy Cow...

I find the interior cozy and unique...

Table for Two... I feel like sitting on a Queen's throne...

Buffalo Salad with Ranch Dressing

French Onion Soup

Minute Steaks

US Beef Ribs

Chicken Ala Pobre

We didn't enjoy much of the food... Grrrr, we should have tried Ruby Tuesday instead... Oh well, but I loved the salad... Our total bill was about P1,700.00... And I'd rate this place, 2 stars... I don't think I'm coming back...

High School Life

This is really one of the best, if not the best - phase of my life... I bet many of you do agree with me... If only I could stop growing old... I would remain a high school girl forever... Oh, and just like what happened in the movie, "The Ground Hog Day", I'd do everything I can to make each day new and even better...

Last night, I met up with my High School batchmates...

Anna, Grace, Nona, Marshli

Left: Anna (while talking to Emma)Grace, Nona, Marshli
Right: Marshli's 2 boys, May, Me

We were all from Siena College, QC... And we're all proud we grew up as God-fearing individuals... Many of you think that Siena is not a very good school, but you may be surprised to find out how many Sienans are now very successful in their chosen fields... Just like these people...

Yeye, Marshli, Ana, Jin, Nona, May, Grace

They are the most notorious girls way back then...

But now...

I can't believe how we've all grown to be very passionate with our careers, religion, politics, and of course, family...

Many of us hadn't seen each other in 10 years...

Don't you just love the wonders of internet???

In June, we are planning to have another reunion... Just like this one... Not too many, not too few... We shall be welcoming our dear classmate, Emma, who has been living in California for 20 years or so...

Hoping to see more of you, my High School batchmates...

Overwhelmed!

I'm sorry it'll be long before I could go back to my regular programming... It would be impossible for me to post blogs until June because of these!!!

So friends, do understand that my blog will be on a state of "temporary in-hiatus" for a few months... But I shall always find time to read and reply to your blogs, comments, and posts...
