Don't We Just Love Target?

I don't know about you guys, but I really love going to Target... For me, it's a one stop shop and I could spend nearly 5 hours just strolling from one aisle to another... Shallow eh??? Well, maybe it is because I don't live in the US and I can't think of any store here in the Philippines that can be closely compared to Tar-Jay...

It is humidifying hot here in Manila, a long vacation is coming up, and every person I know is headed off to the beautiful beaches of the country, or some other colder parts of the world!!! And I 'm grrrrrreeeen with envy!!!!!

If I'm not 6 months pregnant, I'm so sure I'd be 90% in HK, and 10% in Boracay...

Hmmmphh... stop the sourgraping...

Anyway, just dropped by Target's website and found this cool cover ups... I remember when I was little, I was really, really shy wearing swimsuits... It is because, I wasn't an average kid... During my entire childhood, up to my teenage years, I was overweight (and still am). There were no cover-ups during those times... I love swimming, but because I was afraid I might get laughed at, I always made excuses not to swim anymore... Just so they won't see the built in floaters on my tummy, or the cellulites on my hips and thighs...

But now... Cover ups are everywhere... They're so pretty and for teenagers nowadays who are on the "plump" side, or shall I say, "voluptuous", they can conceal their "additional baggage" without being too "covered"...

Love these...

And them you can pair them with these lovely slippers!!! They're so cuuuute!!!!
RAFE Floral Sandals

And this beautiful straw bag...

They're soooo Summery... Just looking at them makes me feel fresh and cool even though it's just another sweaty day here in Manila...

Be Naturally Radiant This Summer

Gone are the days when models in the catwalk wear extremely dramatic make up with smoky eye make up or ultra bright red lips... Year 2007 introduces Natural Beauty, a new look for the runway... Say goodbye to your bronzers and hello to highlighters and create a natural glow!!!

Remember peeps, now, it's all about the "no make-up look", or the "barely there non made-up make-up look!" Get it??

The question is, how do we do it??? For me, there's just three simple steps...

1. Light Tinted Moisturizer applied all over the face with SPF such as:

2. Skip the eye make up, such as eyeshadow and mascara. Just go with the natural effects of a lash curler to brighen up your eyes.

This can't-live-without lash innovation is perfect for curling stubborn straight lashes anytime, anywhere.

Simply turn on, wait 15 seconds, place comb directly onto lash line above lashes, gently lift and comb lashes into the desired shape (as you would with a mascara brush), hold for one or two seconds, then release. And, Voila! You've got eyes that speak...

3. And finally, color your cheeks as if the sun has just kissed you...

This luxurious whipped-mousse formula glides on effortlessly with whisper-light softness and blends smoothly for natural radiant color that remains flawless for hours. Perfect for all skin types. Apply with fingers or brush to cheekbones for natural blushed radiance. Available in 7 colorful shades, from lively pink to shimmery brown, with a magical mousse sensation!

The SMASHBOX O-Glow

On bare skin or over makeup, dab O-GLOW onto cheekbones, and activate the microcirculating Goji Berry-C Complex by blending in with fingertips. Watch the reaction as cheeks turn naturally rosy, for a gorgeous glow that lasts all day!

That's it! Go naturally fresh and beautiful even though you're under the summer heat!!!

Hello Gucci???

Geek Sugar asked if this is a photoshopped picture of an "Arriving Soon" Gucci Phone to compete with Prada. Looks sleek and elegant too...

We just don't know if this is true, can it be???

My First Moleskine

At last, my first Moleskine Reporter's Notebook arrived this morning! I am so excited to use it... It actually smells good... I don't know if it's the leather, the acid-free paper, or it is because it was placed inside a Balikbayan Box full of goodies from Las Vegas.

You may find me super duper shallow, or corny, or even crazy, but when I held it in my hands, touched its leather, its paper, I had an inexplicable nostalgic emotion... I know, I know, it's cheezy and creepy, but hey, I had a strange feeling that this notebook will be with me forever, wherever I go...

I know some of you guys already have one or two... But for those who hasn't seen it or haven't heard of it, you can click here.

Amazon.com sells Moleskine Legendary Notebooks and I find it cheaper on their site. Just click here.

Bags For Men

Time flies so fast... It's already summer here in Manila and I know some of you guys all have plans of going to the beautiful beaches all over the Philippines... wheooowww.... good for you guys... you know I can't... I already convinced myself to stay home during Holy Week and watch tons and tons of dvds... How exciting eh??? Well, I don't have a choice, travelling by plane or by land or by sea is too risky for me at this stage...

Anyways, my hubby's birthday is coming up... I'm thinking of giving him a Men's Bag... You see, he's got tons of gadgets and other stuff attached (i.e., 2 cellphones, ipod, camera, wallet, business card holder, checkbook, etc.) to him everywhere he goes and he keeps on putting inside his pockets. The thing is, I hate that! Whenever he puts his cellphone in his front pockets, it ruins the whole outfit! And the worse thing is, he doesn't get it... He doesn't care how ugly it looks on him, he just wants all his gadgets inside his pockets. So to solve my dilemma, I'm thinking of giving him a gadget bag... Here are a few of my choices...

1. The Briefcase

Though I find this one too formal, I can envision him donning one coz' he goes to several meetings in a day. And he usually is in business attire, so this one's got to be a finalist.

2. The Messenger Bag

I like it. It is worn swung over the shoulder making him handsfree, and it has this schoolboyish, urban effect. Though its a bit big for his gadgets, but can also be a finalist.

3. The Camera Bag

This one is a smaller version of the messenger bag. Vertical rectangular bag made of canvas. I think this can be worn during casual days or weekends. Definitely a finalist.

4. The Carry All Bag

Ummm... It's cute, the leather looks good. But I guess this one is more appropriate for Out of Town business meetings, which hardly happens, or maybe never really happens. So this has got to be out of my list.

5. The Tote

I think this one's more of a ladies' documents bag. I find it a little feminine, and it will not suit my hubby's personality. Definitely a no-no.

6. The Newsboy Bag

The last one on the list, I think it's very casual, very schoolboy, but cute... Also applicable during his casual days and weekends...

The Verdict:

Looks like I'm going for the Camera Bag, it's not so big, but can accommodate all his gadgets... Well, I gotta go this coming weekend and look for one...

McDreamer on the McDreamy Brood

McDreamy, Dr. Derek Shepherd, or Patrick Dempsey is one proud papa as he cuddles new fraternal twin sons Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen. Born Feb. 1, 2007 in Los Angeles, Dr. Shepherd helped cut the twin's cords! He said that the scenario at the hospital was very, very similar with what's going on in the show.

I remember when he guested in Ellen, he was given 2 mini scrubs for the twins, with McCutie and McCudlie inscribed at the back. Soooo cute...
