Must have bags this Fall...

As Fab Sugar has mentioned,
"This season, the shapes are smaller, structured, ladylike — and most importantly, make us entirely more efficient with on-the-go crossbody styles. As for the details and finishes, hands-free, smaller satchels are textured and embossed, darker in rich berry and shades of midnight blue, and come on chains or classic leather straps."

Investing in a classic satchel bag in berry is a good deal... These lady-like bags can be worn as shoulder bags or crossbody bags...

Here are some bags to feast our eyes on...

FFFF - Fall For Fall Fashion

Autumn colors, dark colors, layering... I love Fall... We can now start wearing stuff we've been keeping for several months. And as the famous stylist Jenni Epperson always say, time to wear the Boots Anson Roa!!!

This morning, the Zoe Reported "Falling for Fall Fashion" and again, the shoes are haunting me!!! I just blogged about this the other day (read the blog here)... Rachel Zoe read my thoughts!!! (oh I wish)

And she said,
"Naturally, this time of year means adding a lot of never-before-worn loot into your wardrobe".
So time to take out those rust colored pants, mustard tops as well as military green and gray hued clothes, and then get something you never had before and reward yourself for all the hardwork this summer... Speaking for myself, am I???

Midnight In Paris

"A romantic comedy about a family traveling to the French capital for business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better." - IMDb

This is why I love Woody Allen movies. It has this nostalgic feel, that makes me want to go to that particular place instantly.

This movie showed "the old and the new",

where an American writer (Owen Wilson), who is transported every midnight to the City of Lights in the 1920s, when it was a bohemian mecca filled with chic parties attended by artistic icons like F. Scott Fitzgerald and Pablo Picasso. - Daniel Montgomery
pertaining to the lifestyles of the known artists then, and the rich politicians now... I loved the way Woody Allen combined the 2 elements in one movie.

Look:

I liked it, and I think it's worth watching, but one thing's for sure,
you'll be seeing real couture in this movie...

The New Blackberry 9900

Finally, the Blackberry Bold 9900 has landed in Asia!!!

I've been a Blackberry Bold user since 2006. It has been my assistant, my reminder, my alarm, my entertainment, for the past 5 years... I'm so glad I tried using iPhone, that way, I know which phone works for me best... No doubt it's the Blackberry...

According to Jonathan Geller, of BGR,

"RIM’s BlackBerry Bold 9900 is the company’s best BlackBerry ever. It combines everything a BlackBerry user and fan used to beg for into one incredible package. A touchscreen with amazing full QWERTY keyboard, an incredibly thin (10 mm) and solid hardware shell with high-end finishes like a stainless steel bezel, meshed with a soft touch rubberized finished backside, complete with carbon fiber insert, make for an almost irresistible offering."

I can't wait to get my own BB9900!!!

If you're interested to get one here in Manila, you can call/text these numbers:

C-c-c-cu-curly

They say that unlike most hairstyles, curly ones are always in fashion. Whether your hair curls naturally or not, curly hairstyles are constantly worn all around. The reason why they are so popular is because, they suit just about anyone. It is very easy to maintain, and you don't have to blow dry, or iron it... Just let it be...

I have naturally wavy hair. I find it very difficult to maintain because of the layers. So when Digital Perming was introduced here in the Philippines, I had it done... (here)

Now I don't know if and when I'm going back to my old hairstyle again... (like this)

Why? Because, digi-permed hair requires super minimum maintenance... After applying shampoo and conditioner, I just towel off excess water, then using a wide-toothed comb, I comb my hair until all tangles are gone, then I apply this...

Both from Catwalk, Curls Rock Curl Booster and Curls Rock Leave-In Moisturizer are the best Curl Boosters/Enhancers in the world... I use the spray for everyday use because it is very light. Since the pump has a richer texture, I use it whenever I have other plans that day... I have tried several "curl enhancers" in the market, but only this brand passed my "criteria for judging"...

1. Should be Non-Greasy
2. Should smell really good
3. Shouldn't have a "Wet-Look" effect
4. Should make my curly hair look subtle and not kinky-ish

This is what I do every single day...

I section my hair in 4 parts, then twist each section in outward motion (coming from the face towards the back).

Then I let it rest on my shoulders until it dries...

Done.

Here's how it looks like when dry...
..
A closer look....

Now, do you think my hair suits me?

After office...

Now that my visitors from hell Vegas are gone, I have the time for myself... Now I can go home at 8, and at least have 3 or 4 more hours before lounging to bed... I can bond with the kids, check the house for repairs, clean my cabinets, declutter my make up drawers, etc...

But what excites me when I go to bed are these 2:

Watching TLC

I can't remember if there's one show that I don't like at TLC Asia... I love 'em all!!!
But of course, yes, I do have favorites...
Jamie Oliver's 30 minute meals, No Reservations, Cake Boss, Man Vs. Food,
Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Everyday Exotic, Extreme, gosh... Everything!!!
Honestly, I don't change channels anymore...

Reading my new book

I've learned about this book when Chuvaness posted it on her website.
Check out the related media here...

The first few pages made me cry... It was a little heartbreaking at the start...
But as I go on the next pages, I can feel that romance, twists, and mysteries are abound...
I can't wait to go home and start from where I stopped reading the previous night...
I don't want it to end actually...

Blackberry Shortcuts and Tips

I got so excited when I saw Glenn Ong's of Glich's Life tweet this morning... I hope there are so many Glenns out there who are unselfish to share their secrets and techniques on the realm of technology.... Check his site too, you might find some solutions to your tech related problems...Link
Here are some Tips and Shortcuts:

1. I just discovered that typing "mypin" on the message line will automatically display my PIN number. This is such a big help since I always search for my PIN at my profile and try to copy or memorize it so I can type on sms application and send my PIN to somebody...

2. Same thing happens when you type "mynumber" which displays your cellphone number, and "myver", which displays your phone's model and version number... Isn't it wonderful???

3. At times, you’d be asked to reboot your phone. Two ways you can do that:
(1) remove/replace battery - which I always do or
(2) press and hold ALT key + RIGHT SHIFT key + DEL key altogether and wait for the phone to reboot.

4. Real Convenience Keys - There are two 'convenience keys' – one on each side of the BlackBerry – left is default for voice command and right is for camera. I never use voice command, so I replaced it with Calculator, and the other one for Camera... Which I think I use more often. Just go to Convenience Keys in Options to change the button.

5. This one is also helpful: Highlighting several SMS, email messages or pictures is very easy. Just press and hold the SHIFT key while you scroll through multiple items via the trackpad. Once done, you can easily hit the Menu button to copy, move or delete items. Didn't know this before!!!!! I used to press the Menu key and look for Start Selection, then, highlight, then Copy, and Paste...

These 5 simple steps made my life easier today... Now I'm so excited to share 'em all with you Blackberry users out there!!! Thanks again to Glich's Life for allowing me to post this on my site...

Evolution Of Smooth

Just like Ed Westwick, Twist off top. Pucker Up. Smooth On. Smile...

EOS lip balm is 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.

My EOS Honeysuckle Honeydew

The packaging is cute, though a little bulky for my purse.
I had to buy 2 pcs. so I could keep one at home, and one in my office drawer.

It glides smoothly on the lips. Look how bad my lips look after cleansing.

This BEFORE picture looked a little grayish because the phone camera was too near the subject, this was done for you to see closely how dry and pale my lips are...

And this, after EOS...

My lips looked healthier after, don't you agree?

I love that EOS makes my lips moist all day, even after brushing my teeth. But I see to it that I re-apply every now and then, so as to prolong its moisture.

I also love that it can be used by my kids since it tastes really good, smells oh so good, and is organic, and contains harmless ingredients. That way, I don't have to bring their own lip balms when we go out, meaning, we can all share!

It is also a nice lip base, before putting on your lipstick or lip gloss.

The downside is, the packaging is too bulky... My bag organizer doesn't have a partition for that particular size, that is why, I had to put it outside the organizer, and had to search for it inside my slouchy bag...

But what the heck! At least I get my lips and my kids lips (even hubby's) pampered and moisturized all day!

EOS is available at Amazon.com for only $6.95
