The Amazing Toy Store

Forgive me but you're going to see the word "amazing" in this blog a dozen times. It is because that's the only word to describe what I experienced yesterday at Toy Kingdom (TK). I swear, this is the only store that made me go to Megamall... I haven't visited Megamall in years, but since I was told that Toy Kingdom was newly renovated and extended, I scheduled one weekend to visit and check it out...

The first thing I noticed was the entire look! The whole store seems to be a lot different from the way it was before. Before, it was designed in racks and aisles - wherein all items were neatly stacked and arranged in alleys... But now, the store is structured in a much attractive manner... You can now walk through each "zone" and browse through various racks and racks of fabulous toys...

The Tween Zone

This will make your girls (ages 1-13, or even your age) go ga-ga! You'd be welcomed by a Pink Chandelier that illuminates the whole world of girly stuff!!! You'd see a lot of hypoallergenic make ups, nail stuff, hand gels, stickers, tattoos, picture frames, etc...

Girly Stuff

Then, as I walk through the beautiful pink and purple racks and aisles, I was led to the "amazing" Barbie land, followed by the Bratz Land, and the Winx Club Land...

That's us in Barbie Land...

I can't even imagine how would Cassie react when she sees this... She used to adore Barbie, but now, she's into Bratz and Winx Club... For months, she's been bugging me to buy her these... uh-oh... not now, my baby... not now....

Good thing I didn't bring Cassie... I intentionally didn't bring my daughter along because I plan to bring her on her birthday... She'll be turning 6 this coming March and I want her to celebrate her birthday there... Also, I wanted to buy things that are on my priority list only, and honestly, I wanted to explore the newly renovated store without the kids pulling my skirt!!!

I had a list because we are going to Subic this coming Saturday and it'll be my first time to bring an 8 month old baby to a resort... I noted some important stuff that he might be needing... So I went to the "Summer Fun" area...

Whoa!!! That's a whole wall of various water sports and activities accessories!!!

I bought some sand castle making accessories and moulds for the kids... I was also looking for an inflatable toy/floater that would be safe for my baby. So I took one box and read its instructions, as I was about to put it inside my cart, a friendly staff approached me and asked me what I was looking for, so when I told him about my concerns, he gave this to me,

a swimsuit with built-in floaters for infants, and then handed me a different box (cheaper than the one I was holding) of inflatable floater which is recommended for my son's age... I was impressed!!! This man really knows what he is selling!!! So I gracefully thanked him and walked to the next zone...

Disney Zone

I thought I was I in Disneyland... This is a huge statue of Mickey and Minnie revolving at the center of the Disney Zone...

Cute toddlers were watching Disney Cartoon Movies with their nannies while waiting for their Moms and Dads...

Yes, the kids are allowed to watch as long as they want, but of course, with their parents or with someone to attend to their needs. They can also go to the Artists Circle for more activities, like playing blocks, sketching, drawing, clay molding, etc...

A huge statue of The Incredible Hulk greeted me at the entrance of the Super Heroes Zone.

And of course, the boy's paradise - the Interactive Zone...

Of course you get to try those hot and latest video games in this zone and the friendly staff lets you choose which games you would really enjoy...

And then I saw the Animal Land... The sound of natural habitat is exhibited in this area, the calming sound of water flowing, and birds chirping, made me feel as if I'm in a beautiful rainforest with friendly animals surrounding me...

An hour is not enough to visit this magical place... Wish I have tons of hours (and moolah) to explore this amazing store...

As I was walking towards the pay area, I saw these colorful Easter Bunnies... Good thing I remembered that I had to buy Easter Eggs for my kids' Easter Egg Hunting with her friends...

Mission accomplished, I left TK feeling happy and excited to tell you guys about my amazing experience...
